Why I Am Endorsing Ron Paul For President
At first I was ambivalent to what he was saying, but after I really listened, I realized this was the only politician I had ever heard who made perfect sense. He spoke about the issues in a common sense way without the double speak we started to hear from politicians like Al Gore, and Bill Clinton. Ron Paul doesn’t try to be politically correct. His message doesn’t change with the political winds like his opponent’s messages do.When Ron Paul looks at a problem his first thought is Is this covered by the U.S. constitution? Ron Paul is the Champion of the Constitution. Then his vote or decision is made based on the constitutionality of the law. He believes that, as the constitution says, “Powers not specifically given to the Federal government, are reserved by the states.” Ron Paul wants to return America to a smaller limited government that our Founding Fathers had envisioned. This means he will cut the Federal budget by a Trillion dollars in his first year in office. He can do this by eliminated Federal offices that duplicate state regulation. “By the way, when I say cut taxes, I don't mean fiddle with the code. I mean abolish the income tax and the IRS, and replace them with nothing.” -- Dr. Ron Paul, U.S. Congressman and Presidential Candidate Of course these cuts will be resisted by those who favor big government, but why should we have 2 layers of regulation? Most Americans, and especially American businesspeople are sick of all the laws and regulations that stifle business and make it hard to be profitable.
Ron Paul served his country in the air Force and know what it’s like to be a service man or woman away from home. he get’s more donations from active duty military personnel than any other candidate combined. My father was a wounded Korean war veteran. He told me stories of how the Korean war was a Political war. Soldiers sometimes would lose their lives securing a hilltop and then be told to fall back a they were only allowed to go so far. Since when did America enter a war not to win it. I was in high school and seeing upper classmates losing their lives in another political war; The Vietnam war. I said “I’ll not go to war simply for politics, and joined the Kansas National Guard prior to being drafted. I served my six years and was discharged without having to kill for the Military Industrial complex. “Expanding our foreign military intervention overseas as a cure for the attacks against us, tragically, only guarantees even more attacks. We must someday wake up, be honest with ourselves, and reject the notion that we're spreading freedom and America's goodness around the world.” -- Dr. Ron Paul, U.S. Congressman and Presidential Candidate Some say that Ron Paul’s foreign policy is dangerous. I say it is right. If there is an enemy threatening the United States then the congress has a right to declare a war for the right reasons. But, these illegal wars that are killing our soldiers and innocent civilians around the world must stop. Speaking of killing, Ron Paul as a doctor delivered thousand of babies. He believes that life starts at conception. He protects the lives of the unborn. There is one organization that has been destroying America since 1913. In 1913 the unconstitutional Federal Reserve act was passed which gave a private central bank control of America’s money supply.
